Medical community in the Carson Valley continues to grow and provide valued employment opportunities.
The Carson Valley has multiple options for locals for medical services. Recently Carson Valley Medical Center expanded their emergency services to Minden. Add the medical services available in their main office at Carson Valley Medical Center in Gardnerville and the Tribal Medical Services located in the Ranchos and it is easy to see that living in the Carson Valley has abundant medical benefits.
How about employment options? Well the Carson Valley Medical Center employs approximately 250-300 employees according to Nevada Workforce estimates. This makes them the 10th largest employer in Douglas County. Our community supports all ages of residents and a variety of medical needs or concerns when living in a rural community.
Urgent Care Services
The Carson Valley now has two emergency / Urgent Care service location in Minden, which might seem a little strange since they share a parking area. Both Carson Tahoe and Carson Valley Medical provide quality health care and emergency services in the Carson Valley. Carson Tahoe’s main hospital facilities are in Carson City, and they employ 1000-1500 employees in the medical community.
